Dot Mandala Template

Rings of dots that grow toward the edge, the classic pattern for dot painting on rocks, canvas and wood.

Tip: draw with a mouse, finger or stylus. Use Shapes to add rings of petals, dots and scallops, and Surprise me for a fresh design.

How to use this template

The dot mandala is loaded in the maker above with 12-fold symmetry. Open the Shapes tab to change any ring: move it closer to the center, make the shapes longer or wider, twist them, or fill them with color. Switch to Draw to add your own lines, which repeat around all 12 slices.

When it looks right, open Download and save it as a PDF coloring page, a PNG, a cut-ready SVG for Cricut, or a DXF for a laser or plasma table.

About the dot mandala

Dot mandalas are painted one dot at a time with the end of a brush, a dotting tool or a pencil eraser. Print this pattern at the size of your rock or board as a guide, or trace the rings and mark the dots before you paint.

Start in the center and work out one ring at a time. Use the Design tab to change the number of dots in each ring, then download a PDF at Letter or A4 to print.
